Chiropractic is based on the study of the nervous system and the simple principle that your body naturally strives towards health.
The nervous system consists of the brain, the spinal cord and the nerves.
The brain controls the whole body via the spinal cord. The spinal cord is protected by the spine. Every function of the entire body is controlled by the nervous system,
EVERYTHING, including muscle function, breathing, heartbeat, digestion, and the immune system to name a few.
The spine is made up of 24 moveable bones called vertebrae.
When these vertebrae become misaligned it is called a SUBLUXATION.
When subluxations occur they put pressure on the spinal cord and the nerves. Pressure on the nerves can cut off the nerve flow to the vital organs.
Chiropractic is the science of detecting subluxations; the art of reducing nerve interference; and the gateway to good health
by correcting subluxations via the chiropractic adjustment.
Chiropractic is a holistic practice whose main focus is freeing the nervous system.
